Commodity ETFs
Commodity exchange traded funds track the value of different goods and precious metals. Items tracked may include but are not limited to: gold, silver, oil, natural gas, livestock, grains, and coffee. To obtain more variety in a single investment, one may also purchase an ETF which tracks an index covering multiple commodities.
Trading with commodity exchange traded funds allows an investor the simplicity to invest in commodities without the hassles. There is no need to become involved in the complexities of options or futures contracts. The extra close attention needed to invest in commodities traditionally is reduced when trading with an ETF.
